He is a passionate advocate of the ability of quality affordable housing to transform the landscape of house-building in the UK for generations to come.
He has over twenty years of experience in the industry and within our business, David has joint responsibility with Mark for overseeing the land acquisition and planning functions for the development programme of the group. Marks Adams, Director
After leaving Bryanston School Mark relocated to Bristol where he attended University, gaining a Degree in Business and Finance, before returning to the South Coast.
Mark’s entrepreneurial tendencies, negotiation ability and commercial mindset enabled him to see a large gap and business opportunity in the local property market and he subsequently founded AJ Developments with his colleague and friend, Seb Janes.
The company has grown from strength to strength over the past ten years, making it one of the most successful local development companies in Dorset and Hampshire.
Mark founded AJC with Seb and David as a sister company to AJ, sharing the vision for the company to become the leading provider of affordable and social housing in the Wessex Region. Within AJC Mark heads up the immediate land purchase and planning functions as well as ensuring a robust funding stream with our bank and investors.
A keen tennis player and golfer, Mark will more often than not be found outdoors.
Sebastian Janes, Director
Coming from an experienced Construction background, Seb attended Twynham school in Christchurch, following which he went straight into the Construction industry. He spent several years across many practical functions within the industry, learning to develop his understanding and knowledge of the built environment and its processes.
Seb is a highly credible and informed individual, with a keen eye for identifying areas of improvement within our Industry. He founded the successful AJ Developments group almost ten years ago and is now proud to be a co-founder alongside David and Mark of AJC Homes. Seb will be heading up the growth of the construction division and is keen to bring in new technologies and improvements to maximise the efficiency and quality of the homes we are building for our housing association clients.
In his spare time, Seb is a family man and enjoys completing fitness challenges.
